Sample

A high-purity 4He gas target was used in the ECLAN reaction chamber at pressures of 1000-1400 mbar.

Detector
Counter telescope, Silicon detector, Silicon detector, Silicon detector

A silicon monitor detector (2 cm dia.) was placed between the two lampshade detector arrays to measure integrated number of beam particles.

Silicon detector

Two arrays of segmented silicon detectors (YY1 type, 500 um thick) were used. Each array consisted of six detectors in a lampshade configuration. The two arrays, Lamp1 and Lamp2, were placed at distances of 15 cm and 25.5 cm from the entrance window. The detectors were inclined at 46 degree to the beam axis and covered angular ranges of 13-39 degree (Lamp1) and 7.5-21 degree (Lamp2).
