1388600100018 and were evaporated to a thickness of 200 ug/cm2 onto 1388600100019 a stainless steel foil backing. 1388600100020 DETECTOR (FISCH) The fission reaction rate was determined using 1388600100021 a fast parallel plate ionization chamber and time-of- 1388600100022 flight techniques. 1388600100023 METHOD (TOF) The experiment was performed at the 20 m flight 1388600100024 path which viewed the neutron source at a production 1388600100025 angle of 60 degrees. 1388600100026 The neutron beam was contained in an evacuated flight 1388600100027 tube and passed through a 2.54 cm thick polyethylene 1388600100028 (CH2) filter to reduce frame overlap. 1388600100029 A permanent magnet was used to sweep out charged 1388600100030 particles, and a system of three iron collimators
