The detector plane of 1430500100024 the CPS was comprised of two pieces of CR-39, which 1430500100025 is a plastic polymer that is insensitive to gamma 1430500100026 rays and x rays produced in an implosion. Different 1430500100027 particle track characteristics in CR-39 allow the CPS 1430500100028 to make simultaneous measurements of the scattered 1430500100029 deuterons and tritons with energies greater than 3.7 1430500100030 and 2.5 MeV, respectively 1430500100031 INC-SOURCE (D-T)Capsules containing D-T mixture were imploded by 1430500100032 60 laser beams that uniformly delivered 30 kJ to the 1430500100033 capsule in a 1-ns square pulse. As the laser energy 1430500100034 is quickly absorbed by the glass, the outer part of 1430500100035 the glass shell explodes outward while the remaining 1430500100036 part moves inward. The imploding part of the shell 1430500100037 acts a piston and drives a shock through the 1430500100038 deuterium-tritium fuel that heats the ions. 1430500100039 ANALYSIS The differential cross section for the elastic n-3H 1430500100040 and n-2H scattering was determined from the measured 1430500100041 deuteron and triton spectra by deconvolving the CPS 1430500100042 spectrometer response and the Doppler-broadened 1430500100043 14.1MeV-neutron spectrum 1430500100044 The n-2H cross section was normalized to a Faddeev 1430500100045 calculation that is accurate to about 1%, and that 1430500100046 normalization factor, modified by the deuterium-tritium1430500100047 fuel ratio, was subsequently applied to the measured 1430500100048 n-3H cross section 1430500100049 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-T) Total uncertainty consisting of statistical 1430500100050 uncertainty and systematic uncertainty of the 1430500100051 normalization factor 1430500100052 (ERR-SYS) Systematic uncertainty of the normalization 1430500100053 factor 1430500100054 HISTORY (20111010C) Compiled by S.H. 1430500100055 ENDBIB 53 0 1430500100056 COMMON 2 3 1430500100057 EN ERR-SYS 1430500100058 MEV PER-CENT 1430500100059 14.1 1.4 1430500100060 ENDCOMMON 3 0 1430500100061 ENDSUBENT 60 0 1430500199999 SUBENT 14305002 20111010 13781430500200001 BIB 3 3 1430500200002 REACTION (1-H-3(N,EL)1-H-3,,DA) 1430500200003 PART-DET (T) 1430500200004 STATUS (TABLE) Data taken from tab.1 of the reference 1430500200005 ENDBIB 3 0 1430500200006 NOCOMMON 0 0 1430500200007 DATA 3 41 1430500200008 ANG-CM DATA-CM ERR-T 1430500200009 ADEG MB/SR MB/SR 1430500200010 58.6 116.7 4.4 1430500200011 61.2 106.6 3.3 1430500200012 63.7 94.7 3.5 1430500200013 66.1 88.8 3.6 1430500200014 68.3 81.6 3.7 1430500200015 70.5 75.0 3.9 1430500200016 72.6 67.8 3.7 1430500200017 74.7 60.3 3.6 1430500200018 76.8 53.4 3.5 1430500200019 79.0 48.1 3.2 1430500200020 81.2 44.0 3.2 1430500200021 83.4 37.1 3.3 1430500200022 85.7 31.5 3.1 1430500200023 87.9 29.4 2.8 1430500200024 90.3 26.3 2.9 1430500200025 92.6 21.7 2.9 1430500200026 94.8 17.5 2.7 1430500200027 97.1 15.7 2.5 1430500200028 99.3 11.9 2.4 1430500200029 101.5 10.2 2.5 1430500200030 103.6 11.3 3.3 1430500200031 105.7 11.2 2.2 1430500200032 107.8 7.4 1.9 1430500200033 110.0 7.8 1.9 1430500200034 112.2 7.6 1.8 1430500200035 114.4 7.5 1.6 1430500200036 116.8 8.5 1.3 1430500200037 119.4 8.5 1.3 1430500200038 122.0 9.6 1.3 1430500200039 124.8 12.0 1.2 1430500200040 127.7 14.4 1.4 1430500200041 130.7 15.5 1.3 1430500200042 133.7 21.2 1.4 1430500200043 136.8 26.5 1.7 1430500200044 139.8 29.9 1.8 1430500200045 142.9 37.2 2.2 1430500200046 146.3 45.6 2.7 1430500200047 150.2 46.5 3.4 1430500200048 155.2 61.4 4.7 1430500200049 162.2 70.5 6.0 1430500200050 172.3 79.4 7.7 1430500200051 ENDDATA 43 0 1430500200052 ENDSUBENT 51 0 1430500299999 SUBENT 14305003 20111010 13781430500300001 BIB 3 4 1430500300002 REACTION (1-H-2(N,EL)1-H-2,,DA) 1430500300003 PART-DET (D) 1430500300004 STATUS (TABLE) Data presented in fig.3a of the reference 1430500300005 obtained from author (J.A.F.) 1430500300006 ENDBIB 4 0 1430500300007 NOCOMMON 0 0 1430500300008 DATA 3 45 1430500300009 ANG-CM DATA-CM ERR-T 1430500300010 ADEG MB/SR MB/SR 1430500300011 66.4 55.6 6.2 1430500300012 68.3 48.1 6.1 1430500300013 70.2 47.7 5.5 1430500300014 72.0 52.3 5.0 1430500300015 73.8 45.0 5.3 1430500300016 75.5 45.5 5.1 1430500300017 77.3 45.4 4.7 1430500300018 79.1 37.8 5.7 1430500300019 81.0 40.9 4.9 1430500300020 82.9 39.9 4.5 1430500300021 84.8 35.6 4.7 1430500300022 86.7 29.3 5.3 1430500300023 88.6 26.1 4.9 1430500300024 90.6 26.4 4.4 1430500300025 92.5 26.2 4.2 1430500300026 94.5 26.0 4.0 1430500300027 96.4 26.2 3.2 1430500300028 98.3 27.6 3.7 1430500300029 100.1 22.9 3.8 1430500300030 102.0 20.7 3.3 1430500300031 103.8 19.5 3.9 1430500300032 105.6 15.4 3.5 1430500300033 107.3 15.3 3.1 1430500300034 109.1 15.8 3.9 1430500300035 111.0 12.8 4.2 1430500300036 112.8 11.5 4.2 1430500300037 114.8 13.3 3.8 1430500300038 116.8 12.0 3.3 1430500300039 118.9 9.1 2.8 1430500300040 121.2 11.0 3.9 1430500300041 123.5 11.4 4.3 1430500300042 125.9 9.0 3.9 1430500300043 128.4 6.1 2.9 1430500300044 130.9 5.8 2.9 1430500300045 133.4 8.7 2.3 1430500300046 136.0 10.3 2.0 1430500300047 138.6 12.0 2.2 1430500300048 141.2 19.9 2.2 1430500300049 143.9 24.8 2.1 1430500300050 146.8 27.5 2.3 1430500300051 150.1 38.3 2.7 1430500300052 154.2 53.1 4.4 1430500300053 159.6 69.2 5.9 1430500300054 166.9 87.6 9.1 1430500300055 177.1 123.3 12.4 1430500300056 ENDDATA 47 0 1430500300057 ENDSUBENT 56 0 1430500399999 ENDENTRY 3 0 1430599999999
