Distance between sample and each 1430700100014 detector was about 0.7 m. 1430700100015 DETECTOR (SCIN) NE213 liquid organic scintillators 12.7 cm 1430700100016 thick and 12.7 cm in diameter were used as neutron 1430700100017 detectors. In the first phase of the experiment 1430700100018 response function of each NE213 liquid organic 1430700100019 scintillator was measured by recording the charge 1430700100020 from the photomultiplier connected to the NE213 1430700100021 scintillator and the time-of-flight (TOF) between the 1430700100022 spallation target and the neutron detector. 1430700100023 In experiment six detectors were used, placed at angles1430700100024 of 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 deg. A 10 mm thick 1430700100025 NE102A plastic scintillation detector was placed in 1430700100026 front of each neutron detector and used as 1430700100027 veto detector to suppress detection of charged 1430700100028 particles. 1430700100029 (IOCH) Ionization fission chamber with 238U was used 1430700100030 to determine incident neutron flux. 1430700100031 METHOD (TOF) Energy of the primary neutron was determined by 1430700100032 time of flight between spallation target and NE213 1430700100033 detector. Flash gamma ray peak was used as time 1430700100034 reference in time of flight. 1430700100035 MONITOR (92-U-238(N,F),,SIG) 1430700100036 INC-SOURCE (SPALL) Neutrons generated by 800 MeV protons 1430700100037 impinging on a tungsten spallation target. The 1430700100038 neutron energies covered a wide energy range up to 1430700100039 750 MeV.The distance between the spallation target 1430700100040 and the experimental room was about 90 m. 1430700100041 ANALYSIS (UNFLD) The energy spectra of emitted neutrons were 1430700100042 derived from unfolding their deposition-energy 1430700100043 spectra with the responses of the detectors, measured 1430700100044 individually for each detector. 1430700100045 HISTORY (20120310C) Compiled by S.H. 1430700100046 ENDBIB 44 0 1430700100047 COMMON 1 3 1430700100048 EN 1430700100049 MEV 1430700100050 100.0 1430700100051 ENDCOMMON 3 0 1430700100052 ENDSUBENT 51 0 1430700199999 SUBENT 14307002 20120310 13791430700200001 BIB 2 3 1430700200002 REACTION (26-FE-0(N,X)0-NN-1,,DA/DE) 1430700200003 STATUS (UNOBT) Preliminary data unobtainable from authors. 1430700200004 Final data may be available at the end of 2012. 1430700200005 ENDBIB 3 0 1430700200006 NOCOMMON 0 0 1430700200007 NODATA 0 0 1430700200008 ENDSUBENT 7 0 1430700299999 ENDENTRY 2 0 1430799999999
