The detector on the 4-m track was filled 1437100100016 with NE-218 liquid scintillator, and the detector on 1437100100017 the 6 -m track was filled with NE-213 liquid 1437100100018 scintillator. 1437100100019 METHOD (TOF) Neutron energy was determined by time of flight 1437100100020 (PSD) Neutrons were identified using pulse shape 1437100100021 discrimination 1437100100022 MONITOR (1-H-1(N,EL)1-H-1,,DA) 1437100100023 INC-SOURCE (D-D) Monoenergetic neutron beams from about 5-15 MeV 1437100100024 were produced using the 2H(d,n)3He reaction. Neutrons 1437100100025 were generated by bombarding a 3.15-cm long deuterium 1437100100026 gas cell with a deuteron beam pulsed at 2.5MHz and 1437100100027 beam bunches of 2 ns full width at half-maximum. A 1437100100028 typical deuteron beam current on target for this 1437100100029 experiment was about 1.0 mu-A. The deuterium gas cell 1437100100030 pressure (4.0 atm for En = 5.0 and 6.0 MeV, and 7.8 1437100100031 atm for En = 8.0 MeV) was chosen to minimize the 1437100100032 energy spread in the neutron beam. 1437100100033 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-T) Total uncertainty 1437100100034 (ERR-S,5.0,20.0) Statistical uncertainty in sample 1437100100035 counts 1437100100036 (ERR-6,1.0,4.0,U) Statistical uncertainty in monitor 1437100100037 counts 1437100100038 (ERR-1) Systematic uncertainty in detector efficiency 1437100100039 (ERR-2) Systematic uncertainty in number of target 1437100100040 nuclei 1437100100041 (ERR-3) Systematic uncertainty in monitor cross section1437100100042 (ERR-4) Systematic uncertainty in multiple scattering 1437100100043 correction factor 1437100100044 (ERR-5) Systematic uncertainty in polyethylene 1437100100045 correction factor 1437100100046 HISTORY (20130802C) Compiled by S.H. 1437100100047 ENDBIB 45 0 1437100100048 COMMON 5 3 1437100100049 ERR-1 ERR-2 ERR-3 ERR-4 ERR-5 1437100100050 PER-CENT PER-CENT PER-CENT PER-CENT PER-CENT 1437100100051 3.0 0.7 0.5 1.0 3.0 1437100100052 ENDCOMMON 3 0 1437100100053 ENDSUBENT 52 0 1437100199999 SUBENT 14371002 20130802 13931437100200001 BIB 3 5 1437100200002 REACTION (10-NE-0(N,EL)10-NE-0,,DA) 1437100200003 STATUS (TABLE) Data taken from tab.6 of the reference 1437100200004 SAMPLE Gas contained in spherical container with 1437100200005 diameter of 2.05 cm.
