The 1439400100012 thickness of the 235U was 175.5 mu-g/cm2 and the 1439400100013 backing thickness was 100 mu-g/cm2. 1439400100014 DETECTOR Fission fragments were detected by two arrays of Si 1439400100015 PIN photodiodes (Hamamatsu S3590-09) arranged on 1439400100016 opposite sides of the beam. The area of the individual 1439400100017 PIN diodes was 1 cm2. The distance of the detectors 1439400100018 from the target varied with the angle from 2.60 to 1439400100019 4.12 cm.
