Each detector was Compton 1443800100021 suppressed using a bismuth germanate (BGO) shield. Of 1443800100022 the 18 installed detectors, seven of each type 1443800100023 provided usable data for offline analysis. 1443800100024 METHOD (TOF) The proton beam has a macropulse repetition 1443800100025 rate of 40 or 100 Hz, with each 625 mu-s macropulse 1443800100026 further divided into numerous subnanosecond 1443800100027 micropulses spaced 1.8 mu-s apart.
