Protons from the 7-MV Van de 1446600100024 Graaff accelerator were incident upon a tritium gas 1446600100025 cell at a tritium pressure of approximately 1 atm. 1446600100026 The gas cell was separated from the beamline by a 3.6 1446600100027 mu-m molybdenum foil.
