(G.Giorginis, 2014-03-23) 2285400100023 DETECTOR (IOCH,IOCH) Two ionisation chambers: one Frisch- 2285400100024 gridded for the forward detection of products (alpha 2285400100025 and 7Li) with fast digitisation of the anode and 2285400100026 cathode signals, the other without grid for backward 2285400100027 detection of U(n,f) fission fragments. 2285400100028 Gas mixtures of argon Ar(90%)CH4(10%)+Ar(97%)CO2(3%), 2285400100029 and krypton Kr(95%)CH4(5%)+Kr(97%)CO2(3%) were used 2285400100030 as detector medium. 2285400100031 CORRECTION Georgios Giorginis (2014-03-23): 2285400100032 The new data sets are corrected for background from 2285400100033 the Ag substrate of the neutron producing TiT/Ag 2285400100034 target while the older data were not. The effect of 2285400100035 Ag(p,n) neutrons on the 238U monitor spectra was 2285400100036 determined with a Ti/Ag blank. It was measurable for 2285400100037 energies En>4 MeV.
