The cross sections C107100100021 were calculated from the ratios of the number of C107100100022 deuterons detected by the telescopes to the number C107100100023 detected by the monitor detectors, making use of the C107100100024 known solid angle ratios and the assumed cross sectionsC107100100025 at 13.1 degr., which were taken from optical C107100100026 model calculations. C107100100027 CORRECTION The final measurements were corrected: C107100100028 * for the dead time of the analog-to-digital C107100100029 converters C107100100030 * for the effects of unresolved contaminants in C107100100031 the monitor spectra, C107100100032 * for the multiple small-angle scattering from the C107100100033 target into the monitor detectors, and C107100100034 * for the finite size of the detectors.
