The next five detectors,C144500100024 were about 0.5 mm thick and had active areas from 300 C144500100025 to 600 mm2. The final Li-drifted detector, had 5 mm C144500100026 thickness and about 4 cm diameter. C144500100027 SAMPLE Silicon as detector and target (see above) C144500100028 ERR-ANALYS The main experimental uncertainties are statistical in C144500100029 origin: the counts in the reaction region, subtractionC144500100030 of contaminant events, and extrapolation to the C144500100031 nonreacting-projectile peak center. Events above the C144500100032 peak are believed to be mainly pileup. If treated C144500100033 similarly to those below the peak, they would add C144500100034 about 1.5%, or 0.02 b, to the cross section. Given theC144500100035 uncertain origin of these events, we make no C144500100036 correction to cross section but add 2% uncertainty C144500100037 in quadrature to the experimental uncertainties.
