It consisted of nine thin position sensitive C168300100025 Si detectors in front of four 6 cm thick CsI detectors.C168300100026 Opening angle of the array is +- 2.0 deg C168300100027 (HPGE,BAF2)Gamma rays were detected at different C168300100028 angles - 16deg, 33deg, and 36deg with the 15 HPGe C168300100029 clusters of the RISING array, at 51deg and and 88deg C168300100030 and with 7 HPGe segmented clusters of the Miniball C168300100031 array and at 88deg and 142deg with 8 BaF2 of the C168300100032 HECTOR array. C168300100033 METHOD (COINC) Coincidence between single gamma ray detected C168300100034 in gamma array and 58Ni scattered at an angle <0.43deg C168300100035 to select Coulomb excitation C168300100036 INC-SOURCE (KINDT)The 68Ni beam was produced from the C168300100037 fragmentation of 86Kr beam from SIS at GSI at 900 C168300100038 MeV/nucleon with an intensity of 10.0E+10 particles C168300100039 per spill (6 sec duration, 10 sec repetition rate) C168300100040 and focused on a 4 g/cm2 thick 9Be target. The 68Ni C168300100041 ions were selected together with few other ions C168300100042 using the fragment separator FRS. C168300100043 ANALYSIS All detected gamma ray energies were corrected for C168300100044 Doppler shift on event by event basis using measured C168300100045 trajectories and velocity of 58Ni ions. The cross C168300100046 section values were deduced by measuring singles eventsC168300100047 in the calorimeter, not requiring gamma detection, C168300100048 and by computing the gamma detection efficiency of the C168300100049 array taking into account the gamma ray angular C168300100050 distributions as given by the Lorentz boost. C168300100051 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) Quoted uncertainty consists of statistical C168300100052 uncertainty and from Doppler shift correction C168300100053 uncertainty.
