C180300100013 DETECTOR (TELES,SISD,SISD,SISD) The reaction products were C180300100014 detected in a stack of three 5 x 5 cm2 silicon strip C180300100015 detectors. The front and middle detectors were single- C180300100016 sided with 16 strips each. They were mounted with theirC180300100017 strips oriented perpendicular to each other yielding C180300100018 256 pixels in the active area. The thickness of the C180300100019 front detector was 4 mu-m and the middle detector C180300100020 278 mu-m. They were used for identifying projectile- C180300100021 like particles by measuring the energy loss dE in the C180300100022 front detector and the residual energy E in the middle C180300100023 detector. The breakup protons had sufficiently high C180300100024 energy to pass through the first two detectors. They C180300100025 were detected in the back detector which was double- C180300100026 sided with 16 horizontal strips on one side and C180300100027 16 vertical strips on the other. The thickness of the C180300100028 back detector was 295 mu-m. C180300100029 METHOD (EDE) C180300100030 INC-SOURCE (KINDT) The 17F beam was produced by the 16O(d,n) C180300100031 reaction using the Isotope Separator On-Line technique.C180300100032 The 17F ions were post-accelerated by the 25 MV tandem.C180300100033 The analyzing magnet located at the exit of the C180300100034 accelerator was set to select fully stripped 17F9+ ionsC180300100035 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) No information given C180300100036 HISTORY (20100702C) Compiled by S.H.
