A surface C181600100020 ionization source and a high resolution mass C181600100021 separator were used to yield a 10-nA, 30-keV beam of C181600100022 22Na. To prevent sputtering of 22Na by the intense C181600100023 proton beam during the measurements, two targets C181600100024 were coated with 20 nm of Cr coating using vacuum C181600100025 evaporation C181600100026 DETECTOR (HPGE) Two high purity Ge (HPGe) crystals surrounded C181600100027 by Pb shielding and scintillators for cosmic-ray C181600100028 rejection positioned at +- 55 deg.
