C213400100023 METHOD (EDE) Light particles were identified by E-dE method. C213400100024 (TTM) Thick target inverse kinematics was used to studyC213400100025 elastic scattering as well as multiple alpha particle C213400100026 decays. This technique is particularly suited for C213400100027 this study because it allows the exploration of a C213400100028 large range of incident energies in the same C213400100029 experiment. Moreover, in the inverse kinematics, the C213400100030 reaction products are focused at forward angles and C213400100031 can be detected with detectors covering a relatively C213400100032 small portion of the solid angle in the forward C213400100033 direction. C213400100034 ANALYSIS Special reconstruction code was developed to C213400100035 reconstruct interaction point inside of thick gaseous C213400100036 target, energy of the incident particle at interaction C213400100037 point and angle of emitted particle . It allows C213400100038 calculation of the interaction point inside the gas C213400100039 volume, using the reaction kinematics, the measured C213400100040 alpha particle energies and the range energy tables C213400100041 from SRIM code.
