C216900100017 DETECTOR (TELES,SISD,SISD) Reaction protons were detected in C216900100018 an energy loss-energy (DE-E) silicon telescope, C216900100019 which consisted of two Micron S2-type C216900100020 double sided silicon strip detectors, C216900100021 providing particle identification. Two data sets were C216900100022 taken. In the first, the DE-E telescope comprised a C216900100023 70 mu-m DE S2 and a 500 mu-m E S2 detector, C216900100024 positioned 3.4 cm from the exit window of the gas C216900100025 target. The latter detector was replaced with a 1000 C216900100026 mu-m E S2 for the second data set, and the telescope C216900100027 was moved further downstream by 2.1 cm.
