The target gas cell contained high- D039600100016 purity isotopic 20Ne (99.99%). The body of the target D039600100017 gas cell had a cylindrical shape with an inner D039600100018 diam. of 104 mm and an inner height of 20 mm. Input D039600100019 and output windows were made from 3.05-mu-m-thick HavarD039600100020 foils. The working pressure was kept at 195 mbar and D039600100021 was monitored by a gas control system, which D039600100022 continuously monitored the pressure and temperature D039600100023 of the gas inside the chamber. D039600100024 METHOD (EDE) The charge collection by the Faraday cup D039600100025 DETECTOR (TELES,SIBAR,SILI) Telescopes consisting of 220-mu-m D039600100026 Si surface barrier detectors and 4-mm-thick Si(Li) D039600100027 detectors. Both telescopes were equipped with a pair D039600100028 of collimating slits of dimension 2 mm x 3 mm. D039600100029 One telescope was fixed at the angle of 19 degr. as a D039600100030 monitor, and the second one was moved during the D039600100031 measurement between lab. angl. of 6.5 and 70. degr. D039600100032 ERR-ANALYS (ERR-SYS) The systematic uncertainty that was due to D039600100033 the effective target thickness and detector solid D039600100034 angle, which are correlated, was estimated to be 8%. D039600100035 An additional uncertainty of 3% was estimated for the D039600100036 charge collection by the Faraday cup. D039600100037 (ERR-T) The total uncertainty, which includes D039600100038 systematic and statistical uncertainties, was D039600100039 estimated to be mostly less than 10% D039600100040 STATUS (TABLE)
