D041600100013 SAMPLE The Zn targets were made by evaporating Zn oxide by D041600100014 electron bombardment on a thin carbon backing (about D041600100015 5 mu-g/cm2 thick). The target thicknesses were within D041600100016 the 30 to 40 mu-g/cm2 range. Three targets of Zn and D041600100017 a thin one of gold were mounted vertically at the D041600100018 center of the scattering chamber.
