D604000100015 Two monitor detectors were kept at +-10.degr. to D604000100016 monitor the elastically scattered beam. The data of theD604000100017 monitor detectors was used to normalize the count D604000100018 rates in the telescopes for the beam current and the D604000100019 target thickness to determine the differential D604000100020 cross-sections for PLFs. D604000100021 METHOD (EDE) Energy spectra of PLFs were integrated to D604000100022 obtain the lab angular distributionof PLFs. D604000100023 ANALYSIS (INTED) Energy spectra of PLFs were integrated to D604000100024 obtain the lab angular distribution of PLFs. In the D604000100025 energy spectra of C, a low-energy component was D604000100026 observed due to the 24-Mg + 16-O reaction, which was D604000100027 not included in the integration. Lab angular D604000100028 distributions of PLFs were transformed into a centre- D604000100029 of-mass (CM) frame using the CM kinetic energies of D604000100030 PLFs. D604000100031 COMMENT Cross-sections for projectile-like fragments (PLFs) D604000100032 have been measured in the 24-Mg + 59-Co reaction at D604000100033 lab Energy = 93, 100 and 108 MeV to investigate the D604000100034 projectile structure effect in incomplete fusion (ICF) D604000100035 reactions. In this study, the cross-sections for ICF D604000100036 channels involving the emission of Ne, O and C were D604000100037 found to be higher than the other ICF D604000100038 channels involving the emission of odd Z PLFs. This D604000100039 observation was attributed to the alpha cluster D604000100040 structure of the 24-Mg nucleus. Significant D604000100041 cross-sections for incomplete fusion reactions at D604000100042 these beam energies indicated that the D604000100043 collision trajectories with l < l (crit) are D604000100044 contributing to ICF. D604000100045 ERR-ANALYS Uncertainties on the cross-section are due D604000100046 to the extrapolation of the measured angular D604000100047 distribution.
