D621000100012 SAMPLE A 220 microgram/cm2 thick 12C target was used which D621000100013 included a 0.35% impurity of 208Pb. D621000100014 DETECTOR (TELES,SI,SI) A small area delta E - E Si telescope D621000100015 with thicknesses 5 micrometer and 3 mm respectively, D621000100016 on one side of the beam centered at 20 degree w.r.t D621000100017 the beam at a distance of 89.2 mm. The telescope is D621000100018 used to identify and detect 14C. The energy resolution D621000100019 of the telescope was 2.4% at 77.8 MeV 12C ions. D621000100020 (PS) On the other side of the beam was a position D621000100021 sensitive detector (PSD) centered at 20 degree w.r.t D621000100022 the beam direction at a distance of 101.7 mm. The PSD D621000100023 was a 300 micro-m single area 8x45 mm2 active region D621000100024 covering a solid angle of 34.5 mSr at the target D621000100025 center. The PSD therefore covered an angle of D621000100026 5.84 - 34.16 degrees. The PSD is used to detect the D621000100027 alpha particles. The entrance of the PSD was covered D621000100028 with a 250 micro-m (100 mil) thick Mylar foil to D621000100029 prevent the entry of heavy ions produced in the D621000100030 reaction. The energy resolution of the telescope was D621000100031 50 keV for alpha particles (241Am source) at 5.5 MeV. D621000100032 METHOD (COINC,EDE) D621000100033 INC-SOURCE 18O7+ (enriched) beam with an average current of about D621000100034 7 pnA D621000100035 ERR-ANALYS (DATA-ERR) No detail information on the error analysis.D621000100036 ADD-RES The three body kinematic calculations were done from D621000100037 the code PAKINE3. The CDCC-FRESCO calculations has D621000100038 also been carried out for the breakup angular D621000100039 distribution of the projectile from a particular D621000100040 state in terms of the center of mass angle. D621000100041 CORRECTION Corrections have been made for the energy loss of the D621000100042 incident beam and the decay products in the target.
