F088200300007 DETECTOR (TELES,SIBAR,SILI) The scattered reaction products wereF088200300008 detected in a dE-E telescope for mass separation, F088200300009 consisting of a 300 mu-m surface-barrier detector F088200300010 followed by a 3 mm Si(Li) detector cooled to -60 degr. F088200300011 (SILI) Beam drifts across the target were monitored by F088200300012 two 3.5 mm Si(Li) detectors at 14 degr on either side F088200300013 of the beam. F088200300014 SAMPLE Two 56Fe self-supporting foil targets enriched to F088200300015 99.95% were used. The areal densities were 0.69+-0.02 F088200300016 mg/cm2 and 1.63+-0.05 mg/cm2 with respective standard F088200300017 deviation multiple scattering angles of +-0.10 degr. F088200300018 and +-0.16 degr.
